So today is the 1st of February and my family and I are still in South Africa.
Yip, we didn’t board our Ethiopian Airlines flight last night, but wait! Let me take you a week and half back to a phone call that adjusted our next couple of weeks.
The phone rang and I saw one of our leaders’ name displayed on my phone. It is always great speaking with him and I do have a lot of respect for his leadership. He asked how we were doing and I replied. In the end we were speaking about the right timing in which things should happen.
For us that meant extending our stay here in South Africa with a couple of weeks until mid April. The main reason being that our necessary funds are not yet on target, and so we’ve been encouraged to make sure we reach that goal before we depart. Currently that is our main focus apart from serving locally where we can.
We rest in God’s timing concerning our departure to Kenya. We know that He has brought certain leadership into our lives to instruct, guide and impart to us in every season that which He desires.
We are SUPER exited to get everything in order so that we can run into everything that God has prepared for us in Nairobi. We also acknowledge that this is a marathon and not a sprint.

Until we leave we will be staying in Wellington. We have been really privileged that God has blessed us with two vehicles (we’ve already sold ours ;->) to use during our extended time here in the Boland valley. Thank you SO much for everyone that has made their homes and cars available to us!
Please trust with us as we keep placing our faith in God’s character and nature to supply all that we need to accomplish mighty endeavours in the nations. For more information on what we are still trusting for please visit our Hebrews 11:1 page.
